Worst! Daughter! Ever!

I forgot my mothers birthday. Not a little 1 or 2 days type of forgot that I
could gloss over by the fact that I live several states away. Nope, I'm not that lucky. I forgot my mother's birthday by 19 days!

I know this makes me a terrible daughter. I am not looking to make excuses or say anything other than I am an incredibly thoughtless bitch. But I need your advice.

WHAT THE HELL DO I DO NOW!?!?!?

Has anyone else ever been this thoughtless before? And what do you do? Do I save her birthday presents for my next trip and pretend that I wanted to celebrate her birthday in person? Do I call and cry and beg forgiveness? Maybe volunteer to throw myself on a bed of nails?

HELP!
