Things I Wrote
Paul and I were watching Scrubs yesterday when we realized they had written me into the show. Mandy Moore was playing Zach Braffs girlfriend(too bad she really IS Zach Braff's girlfriend) and she was totally me! The characters name coulda shoulda been Sara. We laughed about it and pointed out all the Sara like things she was doing.
Then it hit me.
She was annoying the shit out of me.
She was so giddy, and smiley, and optimistic, and klutzy, and quirky, and slightly delusional. She was me. And I found her annoying! I wanted her to stop being happy, and not be so giddy, and to stop falling over and what is with those weird fantasies?
Not everyone finds me annoying I am sure. There are people who think all of those qualities are endearing. I have met quite a few of them, and i am friends with a lot of them.
But other people and my friends aside the question still remains: What do you do when you realize you would find yourself annoying if you ever met yourself?
